a continuation of the table series. this composition features solid walnut finished in danish oil while the steel is left alone with the exception of wax sealant. the glass tiles set into the top aren't merely coasters, but extensions of the geometry within the furniture. the steel frame supporting the table effectively makes use of negative space not just in the addition of a secondary shelf, but in visual language as well. the solid steel piercing through the walnut base extends the table's purpose into a realm of catering to our own playfulness and curiosity. from a side profile, this table is a geometric playground for the eyes. for the self, this table is a unique statement of utility and surprising comfort.
